GPU Computing - NVIDIA Tesla GPUs for Ultimate Computing Performance
In modern computer systems, the CPU no longer handles every processing step. With ever new developments in the field of graphics processors, modern graphics cards offer not only a multitude of cores, but above all a tremendous computing power.
GPU computing makes use of this computing power for comprehensive graphics computations, which benefit programmes for video editing, image processing, and 3D animation in particular.
Use the full computing power of your GPU – whether it’s for complex computer simulations, medical procedures, or static calculations. Experience powerful GPU computing solutions from HAPPYWARE.

GPU Computing with NVIDIA Tesla GPUs - What modern GPUs can do for you
Cutting-edge NVIDIA Tesla V100 GPUs, also known as Volta GPUs, have 5120 cores for floating-point 32-bit operations. There are 2560 cores available for Floating-Point 64. For artificial intelligence operations, this GPU offers 640 tensor cores. With this GPU, you can achieve peak performance (FP32) of 15.7 TFLOPS.
The peak performance for FP64 is 7.8 TFLOPS and the peak performance for Tensor FLOPS is 125 TFLOPS. Power-hungry GPUs with 300 Watt power consumption require special systems that are also available from HAPPYWARE.
Applications of GPU Computing
As can be seen from the description above, the high-end system has 3 different computation units. This allows GPU to be used in the following areas:
- High-Performance Computing
- High-Performance Trading
- GPU Rendering
- Video Transcoding
- Deep Learning
Particularly in Deep Learning, GPU Computing plays an important role, supporting the learning processes of artificial intelligence with its pure computing power.

Additionally, we offer rack-based systems from 1U with 4 GPUs up to 10U with 16 GPUs. For GPUS that only has one card slot width, we offer a GPU computing system with up to 20 cards.
For high-end GPU workstation solutions, we have tower systems available with up to 4 GPUs. We can provide a network connection for Ethernet and FDR Infiniband with bandwidths from 1Gbs up to 10Gbs.
Technical details of GPU Computing
Anyone who has ever dealt with the basics of programming computer graphics knows that matrix operations form the basis. A graphics processor performs these matrix operations on a hardware level. With specific resolution, a GPU card allocates a graphics processor for a small area of pixels.
The more resolution you want to compute, the more GPUs you need to have on the card. With special software, you can use the power of these GPU cards for computations in a program. Actually, GPU is only a part of the full term:
General Purpose Graphic Processor Unit = GPGPU
