About TYAN
Founded in 1989, the company headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, is one of the established manufacturers of high-performance server and platform solutions. TYAN® continuously develops innovative systems for organizations that need to process, store, or deliver large volumes of data. In the past, the company has introduced server platforms supporting up to eight GPUs, providing exceptional computing power for applications such as AI, HPC, or complex rendering workloads.
TYAN founder Dr. T. Symon Chang was already active in the IT sector prior to establishing the company. In designing its server solutions, TYAN relies on high-quality components from well-known manufacturers such as Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD. The result is reliable, scalable systems that meet demanding requirements across research, industry, public administration, data centers, and many other fields. TYAN® is part of MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation, a subsidiary of MiTAC International, which has been producing high-end workstations and servers since the 1980s.
