Why do I need to choose a base system to start configuring?

Due to the large variety of form factors, it’s necessary to choose a base system first. This ensures system compatibility and simplifies configuration. For example, just for processors alone, you may need to choose from different core counts, clock speeds, and power consumption (TDP). We’ve estimated that a typical HAPPYWARE 1U rack server can be configured in over 8,000 different ways.

Why can’t all servers be configured?

Some systems, like mini PC servers or server laptops, come preassembled and can only be configured on request. That’s why you’ll see a “Details” button instead of “Configure.” These systems are ready to ship immediately. Configurable servers are built to order by our team.

What if a needed component has an unknown delivery time?

We’ve implemented a system to track availability using a color-coded status light. Gray means we need to inquire about availability. Orange indicates possible short-term delivery. Red means the item is no longer available. No worries – we’ll monitor lead times for you and suggest alternatives if needed.

What happens after I finish my configuration?

Once you’ve completed your configuration, you’ll see a summary for review. After adding it to your cart, our technical team will check compatibility and contact you if needed.
