  Depending on the version, the switches have 32 - 54 ports. Subject to which model, these are subdivided according to different bandwidths. An example of this is the distribution in the switch to the following ports: 48x10 Gb/s, 4x40 Gb/s, and 2x1 Gb/s.
• Layer 3 routing support
  Enterprise-optimized switches support conventional switching via MAC addresses and have the option of routing data via IP addresses. Meaning these Layer 3 Ethernet Switches have the capability to meet the highest demands on data throughput in the network.
