Overview:

The Synology RX1217RP is an expansion unit solution for volume expansion and data backup for Synology FlashStation /RackStation by adding 12 SAS/SATA drive bays on-the-fly. Synology RX1217sas is backed with Synology’s 5-year limited warranty.

The RX1217RP can be used to expand the storage capacity of any Synology 2U FlashStation and RackStation NAS solutions on-the-fly NAS.
