    Collax V-Bien Office was developed for the requirements of small medical practices and freelancers. Collax V-Bien Office has the same range of functions as Collax V-Bien, but works with more cost-effective, but also power-saving hardware. Virtualization and high availability is thus no longer only available to larger companies. Your data is available and secure at all times. The hardware is designed for quiet operation, so it can also be used in noise-sensitive areas without any problems.


    Security and high availability


    Collax V-Bien Office is composed of two identical units. A failure is thus intercepted, all company servers remain in operation. Thanks to the patented Collax Fencing Device, server availability can be maintained even if there is a sudden failure of one unit. If, on the other hand, a failure is imminent, Proactive HA becomes active and evacuates the node as a precaution.

    Virtual networking

    Collax V-Bien Office offers the possibility to create multiple virtual networks. Built-in network interfaces are additionally supported via virtual switches. Network infrastructures can thus be replicated virtually as desired.


    Complete package


    Collax V-Bien combines all necessary components in only one solution. This saves costs and simplifies maintenance.


    Simple administration

    The two Collax V-Bien Office Nodes are administered like a single server. The user interface can be operated via browser, all settings can be made remotely, status information and statistics can be retrieved. The virtualized servers and their backups can also be managed remotely.

     

    Efficient utilisation of existing resources

    In regular operation, both units of Collax V-Bien Office are used to distribute the load of the servers. Only in the event of a fault do the virtualized servers have to move closer together.

    In live operation


    Once the two Collax V-Bien Office nodes have been set up, existing servers can simply be moved over the network. After that, they are highly available without further adjustment. If Collax V-Bien Office detects a defect, it informs the person responsible. At the same time, it ensures that this unit is no longer in use. Once the defect has been repaired, Collax V-Bien Office returns to redundant operation.
