Collax V-Bien was developed for the requirements of small companies, branch offices, medical practices and freelancers. Collax V-Bien is optimally scalable and tailored for these environments with a need for virtualisation and high availability. Your data is available and secure at all times. The hardware is designed for quiet operation, so that it can also be used in noise-sensitive areas without any problems.

Security and high availability

Collax V-Bien consists of two identical units. A failure is thus intercepted, all company servers remain in operation. Thanks to the patented Collax Fencing Device, the availability of the servers can be maintained even if there is a sudden failure of one unit. If, on the other hand, a failure is imminent, Proactive HA becomes active and evacuates the node as a precaution.
 

Virtual networking

Collax V-Bien offers the possibility to create several virtual networks. Built-in network interfaces are additionally supported via virtual switches. Network infrastructures can thus be recreated virtually as desired.

Collax V-Bien combines all necessary components in only one solution. This saves costs and simplifies maintenance.

Simple administration

Collax V-Bien is administered like a single server. Since the user interface can be operated via browser, all settings can be made remotely. The servers and their backups can also be managed remotely and status information and statistics can be retrieved.

Efficient utilisation of existing resources

In regular operation, both units of Collax V-Bien are used to distribute the load of the servers. Only in the event of a fault do the running servers have to move closer together.

Complete and affordable

Common high-availability solutions consist of a mix of components from different providers. Collax V-Bien, on the other hand, combines all necessary components. You get hardware and software from a single source. In contrast to conventional HA solutions, Collax V-Bien does not require an extra SAN. This means that costs can be saved right from the start, because the integrated SSDs are used as the storage solution. The flash array of integrated SSDs ensures low latencies and high transfer rates.
